This post is sponsored by Free People, and it will come as no surprise to most of you that I’m focusing on their denim again. Specifically, there are three pairs of jeans I really love from Free People. Here’s a little bit more about each one:
‘DEEP TRANCE’ LOW RISE JEANS
I wouldn’t call these very low rise. On me they feel more like a mid-rise. If you size up at the waist, they’ll naturally sit lower. At 5′7″, they’re slightly cropped on me, which I actually prefer. I tried the longer version, but it was just a bit too much length — I like the cropped look, especially with chunky boots once it gets colder. They’re true to size (I wear a 28 and I’m usually a UK 10), and they now come in loads of colours too. I am wearing the Bee embroidered pair here.
‘TRURO’ BAGGY HIGH RISE PUDDLE JEANS
These aren’t super baggy, more of a relaxed shape with a nice curve through the leg and a very high waist. They still feel flattering and fitted, just with that looser vibe. Great for long legs, though they’d also look cool with turn-ups. On me, the hems just skim the floor. True to size. Also love this Paris sweatshirt, go down a size in this, it comes up big.
GOOD LUCK MID RISE BARREL LEG JEANS
I’ve had mine for about three years now and still wear them constantly. I think of them as my “jogger jeans” — the ones I reach for when I want to feel comfortable. The denim is soft, relaxed, and easy to wear. They now come in 21 colours, which tells you how popular they’ve become! I do find they run a little big, so I usually size down in this style. Wearing with the FP Birdie track jacket.
